About Agarwood Chips (Muattar)
Whenever oud is distilled out of the agarwood, some of the fragrant oil remains. As a result, the wood chips still have value and they continue to produce a wonderful scent. This can be enhanced by infusing them with oud oil and/or other high-quality scents.
When set out in the home, the agarwood chips will slowly release a wonderful, gentle aroma. However, an even stronger burst can be released by placing them on hot coals or over a similar source of heat.
Muattar goes by many other names across the globe but households everywhere would agree than when it comes to room fragrance, nothing quite compares with real agarwood.
